Bosio (Beuso in Piedmontese, BĂȘuxo or BĂȘuzo in Ligurian) is a town in the province of Alessandria, in the northern Ligurian Apennines, on the left of the Ardana river, which flows from the Lemme Valley.
It is home to the Regional Park of Capanne di Marcarolo and is part of the Alta Val Lemme and Alta Ovadese Mountain Community.
To the south, Bosio is bordered by the municipality of Genoa, at the Stura River. The lower part of the town is also the closest point of the Piedmont Region to the Ligurian Sea (as the crow flies), at a distance of just 8 kilometres, reached at Mt. Biscia Mora.
