The La Smilla winery is located in the centre of Bosio.

Bosio (Beuso in Piedmontese, BĂȘuxo or BĂȘuzo in Ligurian) is a town in the province of Alessandria, in the northern Ligurian Apennines, on the left of the Ardana river, which flows from the Lemme Valley.
It is home to the Regional Park of Capanne di Marcarolo and is part of the Alta Val Lemme and Alta Ovadese Mountain Community.
To the south, Bosio is bordered by the municipality of Genoa, at the Stura River. The lower part of the town is also the closest point of the Piedmont Region to the Ligurian Sea (as the crow flies), at a distance of just 8 kilometres, reached at Mt. Biscia Mora.

How to get to Bosio:
coming from highway A7 from Genoa or Milan, you can exit:

at the Serravalle Scrivia exit, continuing towards Gavi (5 Km.) and then to Bosio (6 Km.)

at the Vignole Borbera exit, staying in the direction of Arquata Scrivia (1 Km.), continuing towards Gavi (5 Km.) and then to Bosio (6 Km.)

coming from highway A26 from Genoa you can take the Ovada exit and continue towards Belforte Monferrato (1 Km.), towards Lerma (4 Km.), Casaleggio Boiro (2 Km.), Mornese (2 Km.) and finally to Bosio.

Coming from Turin on highway A21, the quickest way is to exit at Alessandria Est and continue towards per Novi Ligure and then Serravalle Scrivia; afterwards, follow the directions above.

If you use a satellite navigator, we recommend setting it to Bosio (AL) – Via Circonvallazione 4 or 6 and not Via Garibaldi 7.
